STOL is Short Take Off & Landing competition for pilots. These special aircrafts will be coming to Tehachapi from around the U.S. and Canada to compete in this one day event to see who can take off in the shortest distance and land in the shortest distance. These are the types of planes we\'ve seen in Alaska and rural parts of the world to transport people and supplies to areas that don\'t have airports or roads to land on.
