Tech News discussion on Smart Home Technology.  I accidentally deleted all the links I was using, so no references this time.  I just googled Smart Home Tech and clicked on news.  We learned there is a new standard coming out on more products called Thread.  It\'s poised to replace zigbee and Z-wave as the communication standard between all smart home devices.  We also went over a more cost effective company for smart home tech called Wyze.  Some of their offerings are cheaper while having some of the same features of the main stay brands.  This makes it easier to give a system a try without having to spend a lot of money.  I am not completely sold on doing smart home security over a more traditional security system.  But, I feel video doorbells and bluetooth lock tech can be useful and convenient in some scenarios.  We also go over the importance of picking a good smart hub to integrate all your tech into one central hub.  This makes the whole experience better for you in the end.

I hope you enjoy the logical discussion about the technology.  I will try to get more episodes out there more often in the future.
