b'Adverse Childhood Experiences, also called ACEs, impact the life of the survivor in ways that are not obvious. In earlier episodes we\\u2019ve discussed some of the more overt affects of abuse, but what we haven\\u2019t talked about are subtler effects such as negative health outcomes, a higher chance of self-harm, and a dysfunctional diet. Today, inspired by a listener, we\'ll take a brief look at ACEs as well as Toshua Amber and Shelby\'s uneasy relationship with food.
