b'Fiona is a bright, creative woman who experienced domestic violence from multiple men in a few different countries. Despite being the repeated target of violence, Fiona wanted better for herself and her children. She started college when she was 44 years old, continuing through until she had a master\\u2019s degree. She wrote her first book, \\u201cI Did It, You Can Too!\\u201d to motivate others to persevere in their education.

Just this week, Fiona is releasing her newest book, \\u201cRiver Never Smooth: Reclaiming Power After Abuse.\\u201d It is a memoir based on her life\\u2019s experience as someone targeted by abuse.
