Phillipa Soo is best known for originating the role of Eliza Schuyler in Broadway\\u2019s smash hit "Hamilton" which was released as a film on Disney+ on July 3rd. The role earned her a 2016 Tony Award nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Musical and a 2015 Lucille Lortel Award for Lead Actress in a Musical during the show\\u2019s off-Broadway sold-out run at The Public Theater. She is continuing the legacy of Eliza off stage through \\u201cThe Eliza Project,\\u201d which she co-founded to help bring arts to the children at Graham Windham, the orphanage Eliza started in 1806.

Phillipa also stars in Sony Pictures\\u2019 THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY releasing theatrically in 2020 and is a voice in THE ONE AND ONLY IVAN premiering August 14th on Disney+. Additionally, she is one of the lead voices in Netflix\\u2019s animated film OVER THE MOON which will be released in the coming months.
