Ephesians 2:10 \n\nBiblical Assumption 2: \u201cThe thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.\u201d\n\nEmotional Assumption: A Restless Discontent\n\nBE \t It\u2019s about identity/design: Who am I made to BE?\nDO\t It\u2019s about calling/purpose: What am I made to DO?\nGO\t It\u2019s about place/where: Where am I to live out my\nBE and DO?\n\nCORE IDENTITY: Who am I made to BE? \n-Mistaken Identity of performance \n-Mistaken identity of past hurts \n\nBut you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God\u2019s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy but now you have received mercy. 1 Peter 2:9-10\n\nTO BE: You are chosen (ref. Romans 5:8)\nTO BE: You are holy: precious; set apart as God\u2019s own\n(1 Peter 2:9b)\nHow do we determine the value of a treasure? \nWe want to know who the maker is (ref. Psalm 139:13-14)\nWe want to know who the owner is (ref. 1Corinthians 6:19b)\nWe want to know how much someone is willing to pay\n(ref. John 3:16, 1 Peter 2:10b)\n\nTO BE: You are family (ref. Hebrews 11:16b, Ephesians 2:10)\nTO BE: You are a priest (ref. 1Peter 2:10a)\n\nChallenge\n1: Be a royal priest. Ask: How might God want to use me? \n2: Be a competent priest. \u201cI can\u2019t, but He can.\u201d
