We're Not Supposed to be Happy All the Time

Published: Dec. 9, 2020, 5 a.m.

In today's episode, I disucss the importance of not always needing to be happy all the time. For one, because it is utterly unrealistic. Secondly, we are humans, and humans are meant to experience a range of emotions; some indeed may be abnormal and be classifed as a certain mental health disorder, but sometimes it is just experiencing a normal set of emotions.  I want to stress the importance of you speaking with your doctor, psychiatrist, therapist, or all three before thinking of coming off medication; do not take this episode as advice or motivation to do so. If you feel you are ready, discuss it with your prescriber, and others, if necessary. This is my own experience, thoughts, and opinions on medication from my own research and analysis.  Lastly, I hope you enjoy:) $15 Mental Health Poster on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/sumoflife Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sumoflifepodcast/ Website: http://sumoflife.org/ --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/liam-scully/support
