Well, I really think we need to stop making certain posts about mental health look so appealing. I believe some people want to annouce that they have mental health issues in order to release them from the FOMO because mental health is now apparently trendy. It's one thing to list off the many mental health disorders that you have (which I'm sure is awful and terrible to deal with, if you do in fact have those issues), but what are you doing about it, and how are you helping others? Do not just list off your disorders in order to gain sympathy points. I think we miss the mark when we do this. We should be listing off our problems and citing our experiences with them, i.e., what makes us feel better or worse, and what is hard but helps us in the long term, or vice versa? Let's talk about what works for us and possibly for others so that we can rid ourselves of much of our suffering. Let's not make having a mental health disorder cool, because it is far from that.
