Caffeine & Anxiety

Today's episode discusses the effects that caffeine can have on anxiety, and actually vice versa, depending on the viewpoint given to you from your anxious thoughts.  Caffeine is the most consumed psychoactive drug in the world and in America. Unlike what some people will say, caffeine can actually increase anxiety because it is a CNS (central nervous system) stimulant, which means it can increase alertness, thoughts, sensations, etc. However, I do believe the power to handle caffeine falls in your hands, and you can do it. Just take it slow if you enjoy it.
