Forgiveness it's worth its weight in gold.\xa0 Here is the best part of my story. Here, after decades, I have now finally forgiven myself.\xa0\xa0 Forgiving others doesn\u2019t always come easy. Forgiving myself was almost impossible mostly because I didn\u2019t even know I was supposed to forgive myself.\xa0 \u201cHolding onto anger/ resentment/a grudge is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. \u201c Shame and guilt were the poisons that I drank.\xa0 Forgiveness is the greatest gift I ever gave myself.
