Intimacy: Another Polyvagal Mixed State?

Intimacy, fawn, and appeasement were added to the Polyvagal Theory as mixed states. But are they? Should we take the context more into account before calling intimacy a mixed state? What happens to the states when they involve being alone or being with someone?
