b'Spe\\u0301cial \\xab An American holiday - The Fourth of July \\xbb\\n\\n\\nEvery year on the Fourth of July, Americans celebrate Independence Day, the day they won independence from England in 1776.\\n\\nTo celebrate, Americans have a picnic with family and friends.\\n\\nThey eat hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, watermelon and strawberry short cake for dessert. They also play games like egg in a spoon, a water balloon toss, a three-legged race and a potato sack race.\\n\\nAt night, everyone in the town gathers to watch fireworks.\\n\\n\\nLet\\u2019s explain the rules of the games:\\n\\n- Egg in a spoon\\n\\nYou put an egg in a spoon, you hold the spoon in your hand and you have to run to your partner without dropping the egg.\\nWe call that game a relay race.\\n\\n- The three-legged race\\n\\nEveryone has a partner. They stand next to each other and tie their middle legs to- gether.\\nThey race to the other side and back. The first couple wins the race.\\n\\n- Potato sack race\\n\\nEach person stands in a potato sack and hops to the other side and back.\\nThe first person back wins.'
