He had previously worked at Division I Bryant University as the school\'s assistant strength and conditioning coach since March 2015.\\n\\nBasil designed and implemented in- and off-season strength and conditioning programs for the field hockey, men\'s soccer, men\'s and women\'s swimming and diving, and men\'s golf teams at Bryant. He assisted with the football, baseball, basketball and men\'s and women\'s lacrosse teams. He\\xa0has also served as head strength and conditioning coach and assistant football coach at SUNY Maritime College, as well as a strength and conditioning intern at the University of Connecticut and Bryant.\\n\\nBasil is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist\\xae by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and has his USA-W and Reflexive Performance Reset Level 1 certifications. He has made presentations at the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) national convention and on the AFCA "Inside the Headset" podcast.\\n\\nBasil has his bachelor\'s degree in applied psychology from Bryant and his master\'s in exercise science with a concentration in sports performance training from Concordia University Chicago. He played football at Bryant from 2010 to 2013 and was a long snapper, defensive lineman and fullback for the Bulldogs. He appeared in all 34 games from the start of his sophomore year through the end of his college career.
