Published: June 29, 2019, 8:12 p.m.

Moira Mulroney has a storied professional history. She earned her Juris Doctorate (J.D) from Villanova University's Charles Widger School of Law in 1998 and went on to become an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia the same year, until 2005.

She began the philanthropic portion of her career as The Philadelphia Zoo's Director of Grants and then moved over to WXPN as their director of Philanthropic Gifts.

After leaving WXPN in 2010, she joined The Support Center for Child Advocates as their Director of Development and Communications. Their mission is to advocate for victims of child abuse and neglect with the goal of securing safety, justice, well-being and a permanent, nurturing environment for every child.

Moira attended WINPL to help increase the Support Center for Child Advocate's board diversity (one of the panel members was Ebony Staton-Weidman, who we'll hear from shortly)
