How can Stem cells help with diabetes?
\\nAdipose derived mesenchymal cells, the cells we use at SCHI, are multipotent cells that can generate multiple cells lineages, including beta like cells. The cells are injected into the patient where they will allocate to the pancreas and either support the repair of beta cells in the patient or ideally differentiate into beta cells themselves which would then regulate the levels of insulin in the patient\\u2019s body. Depending on the severity and the type of diabetes the patient has, the treatment, amount of cells and number of times the procedure is repeated and the results will vary.
\\nWe will continue developing our technology so we will hopefully be able to offer our patients the possibility of extracting biliary tree mesenchymal stem cells, which are already pancreatic progenitors which would see the efficacy of the treatment increase. #stemcelltherapy #stemcells #stemcell #diabetes #diabetestype1 #diabetestypeone #diabetestype2 #DiabetesTypeTwo #SCHI #diabetes2 #diabetestipo2 #diabetesmellitus #diabetesawareness #celulasmadre #stemcelltransplant #guatemalacity #canada #autoinmunedisease #stemcellstreatment #guatemala #UFC
