1. Don’t Stress. Stress raises your cortisol hormone, and cortisol can cause your body to store unwanted fat. No one and nothing is worth giving up your peace of mind! Holidays are supposed to be fun

3. Don’t consume excessive amounts of processed sugar, refined carbs, and alcohol. I enjoy all of those things but there’s a difference between treating yourself and sabotaging yourself. I log my food and workouts so I’m aware of the calories I’m burning and I’m able to factor in how much cheat food I can have without going overboard. Understanding macros will simplify your life, using numbers helps you stay organized and in control of your nutrition. If you really have a hard time managing your food at parties eat before you go so you don’t accidentally overeat when you’re there.

5. Keep Working Out. There are a million ways to train. You can have the best, most effective workout of your life alone in your bedroom with no equipment. It’s all about mindset, finding the forms of exercise that inspire you, and remembering to let your dreams matter more than your doubts. That’s why I named my online training program “Dream Body Fitness Academy” because I teach people how to build their dream body while eating whatever they want. Nobody got time for diets and restrictions. Head to aminazenafitness.com to apply for 1:1 support, space is limited.

7. Wear a cute outfit, life is too short + it’s easy to stay away from the snacks when you don’t want to spill something on your clothes. Wearing big baggy sweatpants will give you an excuse to eat to the point of no return. Feeling satiated is one thing, feeling sick to your stomach from eating 4 gallons of grandma's stuffing is not a vibe.
8.

9. Don’t overcomplicate it. If you’re staying consistent with your fitness and nutrition a few days of eating cookies and wine won’t do any damage. Sometimes a caloric surplus is what the body needs. Knowing your body and creating a healthy relationship with yourself and food is key! I think food is one of the best parts of life and I love to eat. Treat yourself with kindness no matter what stage of your journey that you’re in
