Chapter 5: Missing in Montana (Tammy Salle)

b'Episode 3\\xa041-year-old Tammy Salle was reported missing to Anaconda police by her adult daughter on the day after Christmas in 2012. An associated vehicle that Tammy was believed to have been driving at the time - a blueish-gray 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix - was released to the public in connection with Tammy\\u2019s disappearance. Unlike the cases in Episodes 1 and 2, Tammy Salle\'s case is not a missing person\\u2019s case. But it was, for three months in 2012 and 2013, the small town of Anaconda, Montana - population of less than 10,000 - was searching for its second missing woman in four years. Two days after she was reported missing, the blueish-gray 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix was found abandoned, with one of the tires \\u201cshredded\\u201d as if it had a blow out, but there was no sign of Tammy with the vehicle, and no indication of how she\\u2019d traveled away from the scene, if she had been the person behind the wheel. Police had at least found the car Tammy was believed to be driving, but not only was she still missing, so was her live-in boyfriend, 38 year-old John Goldberg.\\xa0 Two days after Tammy was reported missing, Goldberg was invited to the police station for furthering, but he never showed up.\\xa0 Another two days passed and Goldberg was found deceased in his truck from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.\\xa0 In the truck, police found a 4-page suicide note and his dog; hungry but alive. At 2:42 p.m. on March 2, 2013, a fisherman found the decomposed remains of Tammy Salle along a river near Galen, Montana.\\xa0
