b'Episode 2 On May 23, 2008, Helen Gracia left her home to buy groceries and fill a prescription for her mother. She was reportedly seen later the same day at a local hotel with a male companion in Anaconda, Montana. After this witness report of Helen Gracia on the night of May 23, 2008, she apparently was never seen again. The first two episodes of this chapter discuss cases with reasonable suspicion that a homicide has occurred. However, in both cases, the body of the victim has not yet been found. Police in both jurisdictions have questioned a different possible male suspect in each case: Brandy Christiansen’s ex-boyfriend, and Helen Gracia’s unidentified male companion a witness saw with her at a bar. In January of 2006, Tad DiBiase prosecuted the second "no body" murder case tried in Washington, D.C. and he’s researched and pursued his interest in homicide cases where the victim’s body is missing ever since. His website - NoBodyCases.com lists over 500 "no body" murder trials in the United States. Tad also consults pro-bono with law enforcement agencies throughout the United States and Canada.
