This era saw many important Star Wars stories were released in this era, like books such as Outbound Flight, The Darth Bane Trilogy, Legacy of the Force, Fate of the Jedi, Darth Plagueis, Kenobi, and Crucible; comic books such as Knights of the Old Republic, Legacy, and Dawn of the Jedi; video games like Empire at War, The Force Unleashed, and The Old Republic; and of course the launch of Star Wars: The Clone Wars film and animated series in 2008.
