The tools you use in your practice all need to be treated with respect, and as a relationship. After all, this entire life you’re living is a series of relationships. Whether it’s with other people, with yourself, with you pets or the squirrel next door, or your house or your favourite sweater—you’re relating all the time. Your tools are no different.
Which means that when you get a new tool, it’s important to take the time to build a nice relationship with it before heading to home base, if you know what I mean.
