Evgeni Tomov, is a Production Designer, Conceptual Artist, and Illustrator specializing in feature length and short animated films, and animated TV series.\\xa0 Originally from the former Soviet Union,\\xa0Evgeni\\xa0moved to Montreal, where he worked\\xa0as an Art Director and Illustrator for several advertising agencies.

In 1997, his role as Assistant Art Director on the animated short\\xa0The Old Lady and the Pigeons\\xa0was his first collaboration\\xa0on an\\xa0Oscar\\xae\\xa0nominated film for French animation director\\xa0Sylvain Chomet.\\xa0\\xa0

Evgeni\\xa0again worked with\\xa0Sylvain Chomet\\xa0as Art Director and Production Designer on the\\xa0Oscar\\xae\\xa0nominated French animated feature\\xa0The Triplets of Belleville.

Evgeni\\xa0worked at\\xa0Chomet\\u2019s\\xa0Studio Django in Scotland on film development, including working as development art director for\\xa0the\\xa0Oscar\\xae\\xa0nominated animated feature\\xa0The Illusionist, a bittersweet tale of a French magician struggling to survive in a\\xa0world that no longer seems to need him.
