We've all heard the jokes

"My wife is dragging me to the celestial kingdom on her apron strings"

"I'm basically just the oldest child in the family and my wife is the only parent"

Or the more sincere but pernicious lies

"Women are more spiritual than men"

"Men need to the priesthood to be on the same level as women"

It's all garbage and you create weak, passive, incompetent men, husbands, fathers, and priesthood holders by perpetuating these lies.
