Discussion with Matthew Embrey "The Shamanic Happiness Coach" Matthew has been extremely present with energy, psychic abilities, and the unseen universe from his earliest memories. His formal education into the metaphysical started around the age of 12 when his mother brought him to see a woman by the name of Iris Belhayes who channels Enid, (Spirit Guides, 1984), and attuned him to a healing energy modality called Yohti. Iris also introduced him to his early spirit guides which helped guide him to many metaphysical resources throughout the rest of his adolescence. Those resources helped teach him techniques to understand how to raise one’s vibration and explore realms of study seldom understood or talked about during that time of which he now understands are the Teachings of the Masters of the Far East, Akashic, Angelic, Fey, and Shamanic teachings. At 19 he learned Reiki and became an attuned Usui Karuna Reiki Master.
All his experiences helped to cultivate a deep respect for all our relations and led him to study Zoology at Truckee Meadows Community College & Wildlife Ecology and Conservation at the University of Nevada Reno. After his graduation though, he knew something was missing. He realized that the path to helping our planet was not in specifically studying Earth’s ecosystems and relations for facilitation but lay in helping individuals on the planet come to a deeper compassionate connected wholeness with the world around them. A truer understanding of Ayni.
With a renewed passion to help in the course correction of humanity’s unbalanced path, he took his knowledge of population dynamics and Earth’s relations to a whole new level and studied altruism, various other forms of meditation, and shamanism accompanied with indigenous wisdoms. He then learned how to effectively facilitate for people from all walks of life so anyone may learn how to find a higher purpose in connecting to this world and heal the unhealthy patterns of our society’s projections.
Since 2016 he has worked in the community with his Compassionate Mindful Meditation group, Moon Circles, World Peace Meditations, Expanded Manifestation Workshop, and 1 on 1 Shamanic Session work. Matthew’s teachings are vast revolving around an expanded understanding of our existence; from understanding meditation and the energy body to helping each person awaken their unique spiritual gifts, all leading toward a greater understanding of our human existence. Matthew owns Energetic Creations, where he channels magical artworks to help facilitate growth and healing for those who are drawn to possess these powerful magic creations. He also runs a local non-profit called Compassionate Connections Matter to help cultivate even more pro-social behavior within our community by holding events that help us connect and see our true humanity!
