God knows the way! Sermon #2 in The Journey series.

Hebrews 11:8 (NASB) By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out not knowing where he was going.

Luke 1:57-66 (NASB)  [John Is Born]

1. Let God Navigate Your Journey.

Unbelief silences faith but obedience releases grace.

God knows the promises He gave to you,  God has not forgotten you, and  God will release His grace in response to your faith

 2. Realize It’s Your Journey Not Theirs

God always keeps an element of mystery in the journey.

 3. Be Committed To The Journey

Luke 1:67 (NASB) And Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied.

"Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. 6 He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse."  [Malachi 4:5-6]

Luke 1:68-79 (NASB) [The 1st New Testament Prophecy]

"Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people, 69 and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of David His servant — 70 as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from of old — 71 salvation from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us; 72 to show mercy toward our fathers, and to remember His holy covenant, 73 the oath which He swore to Abraham our father, 74 to grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, 75 in holiness and righteousness before Him all our days. 76 "And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare His ways; 77 to give to His people the knowledge of salvation by the forgiveness of their sins, 78 because of the tender mercy of our God, with which the Sunrise from on high will visit us, 79 to shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."

 4. Trust The Process

Luke 1:80 (NASB) And the child [John] continued to grow and to become strong in spirit, and he lived in the desert until the day of his public appearance to Israel.

Your process is handcrafted by God to help you grow, become strong, and lead you to Him
