Rescue my Relationships Pt 1

One of the things in your life that will continually need rescued is your relationships.   Relationships are all about connection.   Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NLT) Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. 10 If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble [Encouragement]. 11 Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone [Closeness]? 12 A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer [Value]. Three are even better, for a triple- braided cord is not easily broken. A Relationship Is A Living Thing And It Needs Continual Nurturing Or It Will Die! The First Relationship That Needs Rescued And Continually Rescued:   Your Relationship With God!   2 Things That Are Necessary To Have A Healthy Connection With God! 1. Time With God In His Word! Read On A Plan. 1 John 5:14-15 (NASB)  This is the confidence [boldness] which we have toward Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. 2. Time With God In Prayer! Pray On A Track The 4 Pillars of Prayer! 1. Worship Psalm 100:4-5 (NASB)  Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting, and His faithfulness to all generations. 2. Repentance Check Your Love Life  [Gal. 5:6 - Faith works by love] 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NLT) Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.   3. Empowerment The Ministry of the Holy Spirit: Isaiah 11:2  Wisdom [order]; Understanding [vision]; Counsel [for godly decisions]; Might [energy]; Knowledge [know how]; The fear of the Lord [integrity] The Nature of the Holy Spirit:Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT)  Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The Guidance of the Holy Spirit:John 16:13  He will guide you into all the truth and show you things to come. Partnership with the Holy Spirit in prayer:Romans 8:26-27; Jude 1:20; 1 Corinthians 14:2 4. Petition Your FamilyJob prayed for his family - Job 1:5]  He washed them with the Word!
