He is the author of "A travel guide to Yorkshire\\u2019s Weird Wolds: The Mysterious Wold Newton Triangle\\u201d and \\u201cSaints & Sinners in Dark Age England\\u201d. His latest book is \\u201cShuckland: Weird tales, ghosts, folklore and legends from East Anglia\\u2019s Waveney valley\\u201d \\u2013 volume one of a new haunted landscapes series \\u2013 and he is currently writing an almanack of real witches and sorcerers, along with other practitioners of magic \\u2013 black and white, from earliest times through until the modern era.
