On this episode of the SPEED CHANGE REPEAT Podcast we are hosting Tobias Fausch who at the recording of this podcast acts as the CIO of BayWa, a 17 billion € company operating in the agriculture, building materials and energy sectors. The business model of BayWa integrates the trading, distribution, logistics and services within the three sectors.

Taking into account the size and different verticals the company is operating in we though it would be interesting to dive into the different applications of digital technologies and especially to dive into the existing use cases at BayWa when it comes to AI. 

We sat down with Tobias and talked about the different challenges within the CIO domain when it comes to balancing baseline infrastructure and simultaneously boost and support innovation within the organization. We are talking about the different use cases and the work that Tobias and his team are providing in order to technologically enable the creation of new business models.
