This presentation is intended to provide the general public a brief introduction to what goes on \\u201cbehind the curtains\\u201d of a trillion dollar industry, showing how the illegal is often made legal. \\n\\n\\n\\nSpeaker:\\tLarry Elford\\n\\n\\nLarry Elford worked in the investment industry from 1984 to 2004, earning the designations CFP, CIM, FCSI and Associate Portfolio Manager. During this time, he became familiar with many tricks of the trade, which for insiders were often considered standard practice. Believing that exposing this \\u201cfinancial crime\\u201d through writing and speaking, Larry hopes to help instigate positive change. He has presented to a federal government standing committee on finance, and to documentaries on CTV and CBC.
