The Mandalorian Chapter 8 Review! We may be a little late on this but, like they say, better late than burning alive by your own flamethrower ….. Anyway… Mike and I talk through the last episode of the Mandalorian of this season. It has been our favorite episode so far and seems to be the MOST Star Wars yet. Perfect balance of suspense, action, and comedy. Mando is pinned down and needs to find a way to escape. Luckily our old pal IG-11 is here to save the day… even if its the last thing he’ll do. Literally. We love IG-11 and hate to see him go… but it was a satisfying end to his existence We also finally get a little more backstory on Mando and even a first name. We find out that “Mandalorian” is not a race… but a creed and Baby Yoda is his new foundling. BUT, now he is tasked with returning Baby Yoda to Jedi located on another planet. Are they referring to Luke and Leia? Could Skywalkers be involved in season 2 of the Mandalorian? Only time will tell… ALSO! The dark saber is brought into live-action Star Wars. If you’re not sure what the dark saber is… just watch all the seasons of Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels and you’ll be caught up… cause obviously I couldn’t remember it all.
