The pro wrestling world is mourning an icon of Extreme Championship Wrestling.

\\n\\n

\\u201cNew Jack\\u201d - Jerome Young - has died.

\\n\\n

A fearless, aggressive and controversial performer\\u2026New Jack is not easy to summarize.

\\n\\n

He was a constant during the peak of ECW\\u201ds national popularity. He was also involved in some of the most notorious incidents of pro wrestling\\u2019s past quarter-century.

\\n\\n

New Jack rose to national fame in ECW during violent, weapons-filled matches. He won the ECW Tag Team Championship on three occasions.

\\n\\n

After the collapse of ECW, New Jack wrestled for another 20 years - including a brief run during the early years of TNA.

\\n\\n

New Jack died suddenly on Friday at his home in North Carolina.

\\n\\n

\\u201cNew Jack\\u201d Jerome Young was 58.

New champions were crowned on last night\\u2019s SmackDown. Natalya and Tamina ended Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler\\u2019s 104-day reign as WWE Women\\u2019s Tag Team Champions.

For Tamina, it\\u2019s only the second time she\\u2019s held championship gold. She had a seconds-long reign as 24/7 Champion.

\\n\\n

Roman Reigns interrupted last night\\u2019s main event between Cesaro and Jimmy Uso. Jimmy was not happy with Reigns about that.

\\n\\n

Rey Mysterio used a small package to pin Dolph Ziggler.

\\n\\n

King Corbin reversed an armbar to pin Shinsuke Nakamura. After the match, Nakamura STOLE King Corbin\\u2019s CROWN!

\\n\\n

\\n\\n

Team Filthy won an 8-Man Elimination Tag in the main event of last night\\u2019s New Japan Strong.

\\n\\n

It was Chris Dickinson sealing the win for Team Filthy. After the match, Team Filthy TURNED on Dickinson. This is in retaliation for Dickinson publicly challenging Lawlor to defend the Strong Openweight Championship against him.

\\n\\n

Dickinson eliminated Clark Conners to seal the win. Conners is a Young Lion no more. He debuted new ring gear and his own entrance theme.

\\n\\n

By the way, Karl Fredericks was the one to eliminate Lawlor from the match.

\\n\\n

Also on last night\\u2019s show, Fred Rosser & Lio Rush beat El Phantasmo & Hikuleo. Rush PINNED ELP.

\\n\\n

Ring Of Honor is bringing back its \\u201cSurvival Of The Fittest\\u201d tournament. It was last held back in 2018. A series of matches will culminate in a multi-man elimination match, where the winner will get a shot at the ROH World Championship.

\\n\\n

The tournament will be shown on ROH TV starting next month.

\\n\\n

AEW announced Friday it\\u2019s added Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston vs. The Acclaimed to next Wednesday\\u2019s Dynamite.
