Kota Ibushi is NOT ready to return from injury.

New Japan announced early Monday Ibushi is off of Tuesday\\u2019s 50th Anniversary show and withdrawn from the New Japan Cup tournament, scheduled to begin on Wednesday.

\\n\\n

The first-round match between Ibushi and Great-O-Khan will be considered a forfeit.

\\n\\n

Ibushi has been out of action since he suffered a shoulder injury that abruptly ended the G1 Climax Final last October.

\\n\\n

Hiroyoshi Tenzan is also off the anniversary show and out of the New Japan Cup due to a knee injury,

Over in the U.S\\u2026FILTHY Tom Lawlor is STILL the Strong Openweight Champion. He beat Taylor Rush on Saturday\\u2019s episode of Strong. Clark Conners stepped forward after the match as Lawlor\\u2019s next challenger.
