If Hangman\\u2019s side wins...he gets a title shot against Omega...and Dark Order gets a shot at the Bucks. BUT if The Elite wins...Hangman, the #1 ranked contender in AEW, will NOT get his title shot.

The main event for NXT TakeOver 36 is now official. The match was made on last night\\u2019s NXT. It\\u2019ll be Karrion Kross defending the NXT Championship against Samoa Joe.

That was just one of the major developments from last night\\u2019s show.

It appears Dakota Kai will challenge NXT Women\\u2019s Champ Raquel Gonzalez at TakeOver....after Kai turned on Gonzalez during an in-ring promo last night.

\\n\\n

Ridge Holland returned to NXT...and helped Pete Dunne & Oney Lorcan beat Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher. Dunne pinned Ciampa with the Bitter End.

Holland had been out of action since he sustained a knee injury last October.

\\n\\n

Adam Cole beat Bronson Reed in last night\\u2019s main event...pinning him after hitting The Last Shot. Kyle O\\u2019Reilly laid out Cole after the match.

Carmelo Hayes beat Josh Briggs to advance in the NXT Breakout Tournament.

Imperium\\u2019s Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner beat Hit Row\\u2019s Top Dolla & Ashante Adonis...after some ringside interference by Legado Del Fantasma.

Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter beat Franky Monet & Jessi Kamea. Catanzaro pinned Monet after Robert Stone\\u2019s attempt to help Monet backfired.

Mandy Rose was spotted huddling backstage with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.

New Japan announced two matches for its Wrestle Grand Slam show coming up on September 4th.

\\n\\n

First, a rematch between Kazuchika Okada and Jeff Cobb. Okada pinned Cobb with a rollup at last Sunday\\u2019s Wrestle Grand Slam show.

\\n\\n

After the match, Cobb said he would be returning to the U.S. But apparently...that was a LIE! Cobb showed up at Tuesday\\u2019s Summer Struggle show for a post-match attack on Okada.

\\n\\n

Also announced for the Wrestle Grand Slam show on September 4th...Toru Yano will challenge Chase Owens for the KOPW 2021 trophy.

Brain Milonas beat Joe Keys in a Pure Rules Match that premiered Wednesday on Ring Of Honor\\u2019s \\u201cWeek By Week\\u201d YouTube show.

Last night\\u2019s NWA Powerrr saw the first matches in the Champions Series.

\\n\\n

Team Pope\\u2019s Trevor Murdoch submitted Team Aldis\\u2019 Fred Rosser in the main event.

\\n\\n

Last night\\u2019s show is considered \\u201cRound 1\\u201d in the 4-team competition. Team Pope leads the way with 10 points. Team Aldis is scoreless after the first round.
