Join us this week as we welcome The Whiffenpoofs Of Yale University. Every year, 14 senior Yale men are selected to be in the Whiffenpoofs, the world's oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group. Founded in 1909, the "Whiffs" began as a senior quartet that met for weekly concerts at Mory's Temple Bar, the famous Yale tavern. Today, the group has become one of Yale's most celebrated and hallowed traditions. Recently The Whiffenpoofs performed on the television show "The Sing-Off". We will talk to them about their upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at their music, play song selections from the group and ask them to share their efforts to support the troops. Please be sure to visit The Whiffenpoofs at http://www.whiffenpoofs.com for all their latest news. As always we will give shout outs to our deployed military listeners. Be sure to join us, Sunday February 13th 2011 at 4:00 PM EST! Our message to the troops....WE do what we do, because YOU do what you do.
