Join us this week as we welcome country music singer/songwriter, Mike Short Jr. Mike began his music career at age 11, where he sang in karaoke clubs throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland. Growing up, his music influences were Tim McGraw, Johnny Cash and Gary Allan, among others. Upon graduating high school, Mike moved to Nashville to pursue his music dream and an education. He enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University to study Agriculture and Music, and formed his four-member band called StateWide. With a country sound that is in demand, you will find them at Tootsies or Pucketts, or in many other famous venues in Nashville and surrounding areas. Summertime is their touring season. You will find them coast to coast. We will talk to Mike about his upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at his music, feature his latest songs, and ask him to share his message for the troops.
