Johnny Reed Foley Live

Published: June 25, 2017, 8 p.m.

Join us this week as we welcome Country music singer songwriter, Johnny Reed Foley. Based in Nashville, TN., Johnny was raised by a pastor with a passion for music. His father took him to an open mic night at age 14, an experience that fueled his fire to pursue this path. From there, Johnny distilled his love of genre-defining songwriters such as George Jones, Hank Williams Sr. & Jr., Travis Tritt, Garth Brooks, Sam Hunt, Kris Kristofferson, Eric Church, and even his own father, to write real stories about his life and the lives of those around him. Putting the finishing touches on his debut album, "Mountains To Main Street", due for release in the first half of 2017, Foley is eager to release his music into the world. Produced by Billy Chapin (Sister Hazel, Edwin McCain, Chelsea Bain)", Mountains is full of raw emotion delivered in a rich baritone as the band plays simultaneously to keep the feel as authentic as possible. Planting a smile on the face of others is just another day's work's for Foley. Having rocked thousands at various NASCAR events across the country, Johnny will continue to tour throughout the new year, moving bodies and engaging minds from mountains to main street and everywhere in between. Recently he opened for Jason Aldean at the Runaway Country Music Fest in Kissimmee, FL. We will talk to Johnny about his upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at his music, feature his latest songs, and ask him to share his message for the troops. Please be sure to visit Johnny Reed Foley at http://www.johnnyreedfoley.com/ and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and speak live with Johnny during the show (718) 766-4193. And as always we will give shout outs to our deployed military listeners. Our message to the troops: WE do what we do, because YOU do what you do.
