Jackson Delaney Live!

Published: June 23, 2013, 8 p.m.

Join us this week as we welcome Country Music singer songwriter, Jackson Delaney. Hailing from Southington, Oh., Jackson was a aspiring baseball pitcher headed for the big leagues when injury cut his career short. But a quitter he is not…With a crumbled up map and star drawn on Nashville, Delaney embarked on a journey down a highway he never intended. He hung up his cleats, picked up a guitar and turned toward an alternate passion to shine under a different limelight, to become a career-recording artist. Now as a mainstay entertainer seated smack dab amidst the neon colors that light up the nights in downtown Nashville, Jackson Delaney’s baritone vocals echo in the lanes between the historic Ryman Auditorium and the Cumberland River like a haunting trail left behind by Waylon, Willie and Kris. His recently released self-titled, six-track EP, with track titles “Ugly Lucky And Me,” “You Make Me Wanna,” “Long Black Cadillac” and “Shotgun Wedding,” is filled with toe-tapping steady rhythms, contagious riffs, dance shuffles and compelling lyrics. We will talk to Jackson about his upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at his music, feature his latest songs, and ask him to share his message for the troops. Please be sure to visit Jackson Delaney at http://jacksondelaney.com/ and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and chat live with Jackson during the show. If you would like to participate in the live chat during the show, you must sign up on the show site first and then log in during the show. More great music for a really great cause! And as always we will give shout outs to our deployed military listeners. This is sure to be a terrific show so be sure to join us, Sunday June 23rd 2013 at 4:00 PM EDT! Our message to the troops....WE do what we do, because YOU do what you do.
