Join us this week as we honor Veterans Day and welcome the country pop singer songwriter, Ashliegh Lisset. Hailing from Dallas, TX., Since the age of twelve, Ashliegh has had aspirations of becoming a professional recording and performing artist. It was a tragic life experience that lead her to music. At the age of eleven, she received devastating news. Her father, an American Soldier, lost his life in combat while serving a second tour for Operation Iraqi Freedom. It was dealing with this tragic loss that she found comfort in music. Quickly realizing life was too short not to pursue her dream. When asked about her father, Ashliegh replies, “My dad was a passionate soldier, and he died doing something he believed in.
