b'An open letter to IFPUG members: Board of Directors Election\\n(This letter is not authorized by IFPUG or IFPUG\'s Board of Directors)\\xa0\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nFour Board of\\nDirector Candidates speak out on the Issues!\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\xa0I offered all of the candidates running for the IFPUG Board\\nof Directors the opportunity to answer one question to be posted on the Software\\nProcess and Measurement Cast (SPaMCAST).\\xa0\\nThe question was \\u201cin your opinion what is IFPUG\\u2019s most significant\\nproblem and if elected what would you do about it."\\xa0\\xa0 Four of the eight candidates took me up on\\nthe offer.\\xa0 I have packaged their answers\\non this special edition of SPaMCAST.\\xa0\\nNote, I did\\xa0 no editing\\xa0 on\\nthese responses.\\xa0 Also the fact that\\nthey\\u2019re appearing on SPaMCAST is not a recommendation by me or IFPUG.\\xa0\\xa0 It is merely a public service for the\\nmembership.\\xa0 \\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nIf you are interested in listening to the podcast you can\\nsubscribe via ITunes, other podcatchers or go to for streaming.\\xa0 \\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\xa0Commentary:\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\xa0\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nAs in IFPUG member you have a deep interest in how IFPUG governed.\\nBoard members have a significant hand in whether new ideas are embraced or the\\nstatus quo maintained, whether offerings are expanded or maintained.\\xa0 Your vote for the members of the IFPUG Board\\nof Directors is an important tool for you to make your voice heard.\\xa0 If you\\u2019re voting member in good standing (one good indication is whether you\\npaid your dues) you should have recently received a ballot in the mail or an\\ne-mail with instructions on how to vote if you have not received one or both\\nplease: \\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\xa0\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n Validate\\n you are a voting member.\\xa0 Remember\\n that corporate members have the specific people identified as voting\\n members.\\xa0\\n After\\n validating your voting member make sure you paid your dues for the 2007 \\u2013\\n 2008 year.\\xa0\\n If\\xa0 you still think you are should have\\n received a ballot contact the office at IFPUG@IFPUG.org and please copy me\\n at tcagley2@oh.rr.com \\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\xa0Voting is an important obligation of membership.\\xa0 Voting is part of the theme of involvement I\\nwill be stressing when I become president later this year.\\xa0 Begin your involvement with IFPUG by\\nvoting.\\xa0 \\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\xa0Note this entry will be posted at .\\xa0 I will be update this blog periodically\\nduring my presidency.
