b'Show 37 is my interview with\\nEd Yourdon.\\xa0 We discussed Web 2.0 and\\nit\\u2019s impact on the software development worlds. I\\xa0 have titled the interview,\\n\\u201cCollaborate or Die!\\u201d\\xa0 A bit over the top\\nyou say, well Denis Waitley once said, \\u201con line or in the bread line."\\xa0 The people I was with thought that was a bit\\nover the top.\\xa0 He was right and I would\\nsuggest the use of Web 2.0 tools is another watershed.\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nEd is a one of those rare\\npolymaths in the IT world. His bio from Wikipedia begins Edward Nash Yourdon\\n(born 1944) is a computer consultant, an author and lecturer, and a recognized\\npioneer in the software engineering methodology of structured programming world.\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nHe is a graduate of MIT,\\nearning a BS in Mathematics in 1965.\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nThe December 1999 issue of Crosstalk:\\nThe Journal of Defense Software Engineering named Yourdon one of the ten most\\ninfluential people in the software field. In June 1997, he was inducted into\\nthe Computer Hall of Fame Yourdon is widely known as the lead developer of the Structured\\nSystems Analysis and Design Method (SSADM), as well as co-developer of the\\nYourdon/Whitehead method of object-oriented analysis/design and the popular\\nCoad/Yourdon OO methodology of the late 1980s and 1990s.\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nHe has authored over 550\\ntechnical articles and authored or coauthored 26 computer books since . He founded and\\npublished American Programmer magazine (now titled Cutter IT Journal).
