After living together for a while, they split over Rodolfo’s unreasonable jealousy [ in reality, a concern for Mimi’s illness and her desire not to be a burden on him]. They re-unite in her deathbed. When Rodolfo realizes Mimi has died, he cries in despair. Longtime friends and opera lovers Octavio Choy and Peter Shimkin want YOU to become an opera fan!
