MEDITATION PEACE AND PURPOSE - JO MOOY AND PATRICIA COCKERILL

Published: Oct. 20, 2019, 6:50 p.m.

For over 40 years, Jo and Patricia studied with internationally known lineage teachers and esoteric organizations. They were initiated and/or ordained into advanced meditation and spiritual practices in those lineages and instructed to widen the scope of their training by bringing the teachings to new audiences. They've traveled to Asia, the Middle East, Europe, South America and Canada. Most were spiritual trips, for peace or for specific meditation training. They experienced different cultures, learning unique practices, traditions and rituals that enriched their spiritual work. The best of those experiences became part of their personal work of teaching and serving others on their spiritual journey. Their goal is simple: Guide others to use proven meditation or esoteric practices that will expand the student's spiritual growth. Patricia and Jo are well-respected meditation leaders, teachers, healers, and spiritual event organizers. Their ceremonies, gatherings, & seminars are presented with deep reverence and always focused on the sacred. The Women's Meditations and Women's Retreats explore inspirational concepts, delve into deep mystical topics, and give purpose & guidance. Complex topics are made understandable and easy to assimilate into personal practices. Testimonials from hundreds of attendees attest to the personal, life-altering, or spiritual changes, made possible by the practices and tools they were taught. They founded The Women's Meditation Circle in 2006 with 8 women. It now numbers 500+. Their newly published book, Meditation – The Art & Practice, is the heart of their daily practices. Patricia, a Healer-Practitioner, coordinates the Sarasota Healer's Network which directs prayer & healing for those in need. In this capacity, she was named "Best Energy Healer." Jo writes and publishes an internationally subscribed E-Newsletter called Spiritual Connections and the Women's Meditation Newsletter. Her writings appear in Spirit of Maat magazine and Transformation Magazine. They were both honored with six Nattie Awards as favorite Meditation Leaders, Higher Calling, and Zen practitioners. Both appeared on national and local TV and Radio programs and were featured in the PBS documentary: Diamonds Along the Highway: Siesta Key Awakening.
