Marco Foyot is a French pétanque [akin to bocce ball] legend. He was the world pétanque champion in Aosta, Italy in 1992 playing alongside Fazzino and Monard. He also won the bronze medal four times and the silver medal once in other World Championships. He has won the French Championship seven times and has come in second eight times. He has played pétanque all his life and has his own academy called the Académie Marco Foyot Pétanque in the south of France.
