b'Mags Crean grew up in Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland in a working class area.Her parents instilled in her the importance of education from an early age and Mags went on to do a PhD in UCD, Dublin.Her working and academic life has been dedicated to areas of equality, social class, care & education.She has been writing extensively on these matters has published a number of papers within this realm.Mags has been elected to the Wicklow County Council seat at the May 2019 local election.
