Take a trip with us to visit Lizzie Allan in White Rock B.C. in Canada.  Lizzie shares her personal recovery story with us and details her geographical, mental meltdowns. One of these breakdowns landed her in a psych ward in Thailand, another happened in Morocco and then again in Manchester. 

She tells us that oddly enough once she stopped using drugs for good her mental health improved. Lizzie is a currently a successful comedian, therapist, speaker and blogger that still works on her recovery every single day.

Now with ten years of sobriety under her belt Lizzie leads others to heal from their own traumatic past by combining therapy with humor = Hilarapy by putting on workshops in person and online. She is very involved in recovery and community and will be hosting this years Recovery Day B.C. based out of Vancouver Canada in September 2020.
