Paul Dewar has been flying UAVs since the late 90s when he first strapped a camera under a remotely controlled helicopter. Since then Paul has founded Drone Pilots, a UAV-focused consultancy and is also the chief pilot for Aquilla Aero, an Australian-based manufacturer of large fixed-wing composite UAVs. Paul's insight on what it takes to get a newly designed UAV off the ground shows us just how involved the process is.
