b'Today\'s guest has been dubbed the "Tropical Tycoon" by The New York Times Magazine. Nely Gal\\xe1n, a women empowerment advocate and Emmy Award-winning television producer, joins us. She\'s also the owner of Gal\\xe1n Entertainment, a dynamic multicultural media company that has created more than 700 TV shows in English and Spanish. She was also the first Latina president of the U.S. TV network, Telemundo. Nely also founded the Adelante Movement, a national motivational tour and digital platform that unites and empowers Latinas socially, economically and politically. She\'s out with a brand new book titled, "Self Made: Becoming Empowered, Self-Reliant, and Rich in Every Way." In the book, she discusses how helping women become self-made is a movement not a mission. In our interview we discuss how there is no true empowerment until you have your own money.
