Simone was a celebrity / TV make-up artist for many years, but when her son Harry was born the juggle of long hours on set made her re-think her working life. What started off as a career change into the world of floristry and events led her to the world of candles and a passion for perfumery. Four years on and Simone Voss Luxury is a well-established range of candles, diffusers, body lotions and washes that is stocked in high-end stores around the world. While Andrew Voss, a celebrated sports commentator, hasn’t ‘quit his day job’ the couple are very much equal partners in running the business. Simone and Andrew share their journey which at times it resembled a Bourne Identity movie, along with the highs, lows and reality of going out on your own. Fascinating stuff and I have to say Andrew’s hall pass choice is equally fascinating!
