Slasher Radio takes a trip overseas with a turd named Stephen! We hit play on the virus ridden 2007 film [REC], directed by Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza. There have been 4 installments in the [REC] series, but we dove in head first with the original production set in an apartment building in Barcelona. This suspenseful found footage film was well-received by both horror fans and critics which spawned the development of the rest of the franchise's films. As expected, the series doesn't set well with all film goers. Bonez and Dismay discuss the pros and cons with Stephen to uncover which aspects of the film are influential enough to have captured the horror audience's attention.
