There has always been an ongoing debate on how African Americans have been impacted by not knowing the breadth and depth of their history. Does it make a difference to our emotional wellness to know from whence we came? Why does knowing our roots even matter for today's generation and how does this impact America as a whole?
Dr. Marion Woods is our special guest. He is a Professor/Advocate of Black History, a graduate of Morehouse College, the classmate of Dr. Martin Luther King, a past Governor Brown Appointee, Civil Rights Activist, and change agent. Dr. Woods shares his perspective and wisdom on this topic as well as sheds some light on how we can all benefit from knowing more about each others culture and background
