After courageously refusing to conform to a culturally repressed life, including the tradition of arranged marriages, at the age of 25, Karen knew things had to shift. Hopeless and depressed, and not wanting to be disrespectful to her parents, she felt that her only way out was to lie and say that her company wanted to relocate her. On that lie, she boldly left her family home in the UK with the loving support of her parents to live on her own in Los Angeles, California. With hard work and an unrelenting dream of financial independence, Karen broke 6 figures in her first year as a financial sales consultant and after several years of increasing external success, realized that there had to be more to life than wealth and security. In her search for an understanding of how to live more meaningfully, Karen attended retreats and seminars, and read numerous books. On the evening of her 33rd birthday, she had a full blown soul awakening and discovered the ultimate freedom: a deep connection with the Divine Source of All.
